Targeting GPR75
Melio Bio is developing small-molecule inverse agonists against GPR75: a genetically validated target for next-generation obesity therapeutics. By inhibiting this receptor, we aim to reduce adiposity while preserving healthy muscle mass. Our therapeutic strategy goes beyond an isolated treatment for obesity; we leverage clinical data to map risk factors and halt the progression of severe, interconnected cardiometabolic comorbidities driven by GPR75 dysregulation.
